worth your read?
How does a book qualify? Did it wake you at night, asking to get out? Did it take on a life of it’s own? Was there a Fire burning in you that was not relinquished until you let the words out?

The authors
DAN SMEENGE
MISSIONS FICTION MOSTLY
Dan Smeenge has lives on five continents and several islands. His most interesting house guests have been Kechua Indians, Kosovan refugees, one thousand loose baby chicks, and tarantulas. He is father and grandfather to a wonderfully crazy, totally non-related, multicolored family. He's moved over fifty times, once being a journey down the Mississippi. Dan is always crafting something. Often it’s a manuscript.

SEVGI MASTER
ARTISTRY COMES FIRST
Sevgi eats, breathes and lives art. Push paint aside to eat, or sit down for sure. But mostly just get mesmerized and pulled into the art. And it’s story. There’s the issue. Every piece has a story. So books are born. Can’t help it. And like art, there are usually three more books in the hopper than in print. But they’ll be worth the wait!
MELIKE SMEENGE
FICTIONAL BIOGRAPHIES
Melike’s books wake her up early in the morning or keep her up in the wee hours. These are the most delightful times to interact with the people she is writing about. Having lived in Africa, Europe, Asia and the United States she loves language, culture, and delectable delights. The remnants of the Biafra War, the wave of refugees and trauma of the Kosovo crisis, and the realities of the Gulf War and Arab Spring put her in the face of war and conflict. She also weaves in her interactions across five generations.
ABDIYA WESAB
REALITY RESEARCH
Abdiya writes from her research and experience; interviews and travels. She takes on issues that most don’t want to face and adds tenderness to reality. Those dealing with horrors are real people and have amazing stories, once you get under their skin. Behind closed doors in closed access regions there are forgotten heroes. Abdiya makes it her goal to find them.
